I need to rearrange my room so that I have more floor space. Have I? No. I've done laundry (I need Fall clothes again. March Madness? Less about about basketball, more about WEATHER) and re-re-re-watched last night's Supernatural and I have all these SPN s4 = BtVS s6/s7 thoughts and bits of how last night's ep was homage-y (in the good way) to BtVS but it's all... nebulous.

Is it just me or does Room 1444 sound familiar to anyone else? It's tickling SOMETHING in the back of my brain. The most I've come up with is that if you add up the numbers the sum is 13 and there's the whole "no 13th floor rule" (most of the old buildings here skipped to the 14th) or am I forgetting some pop-culture reference that I once knew??

Also? When does John Mayer SLEEP?? DOES John Mayer sleep???

This post also not flocked because I'm really curious if ANYONE else has theories/thoughts/a lightbulb on the question under the cut.

LIKE MAGIC I am listening to John Mayer's cover of Free Fallin' right now. Though maybe that is NOT magic because I have pretty much had it on repeat all day, haha.

I refuse to get on twitter because I would never step away from the computer. IT IS A SICKNESS TO MY SOOOOOOOUL.

It's magic if we say it is.

Twitter was supposed to be academic for me, follow NPR, follow the NY Times, but SOPHIA is there and Ed and Chace and Leighton and... it's eaten me alive.

Re: 1444
Google says no. Perhaps you were thinking of Room 401? Yeah. I got nuthin'. Get you with the wicked awesome math smarts.

John Mayer makes me twitch. I don't know why. Perhaps because "your bubblegum tongue" squicks me. I mean, it's not lover's spit bad, but...ewww. So I guess he's up all night tweeting? You just know Jen's all old like me (a year older, actually) and she's lying next to him, chain smoking and bitching about the clicking.

I have added Beef'n'Cheddar + Arby's sauce to my extra-garlic hummus + onion pita breath. I think we all know exactly how lucky a man Caza is.

Didja see the 4x18 promo pic of the laundry mat? Dr. Horrible fabulousness aside, the only other think that could make me spontaneously combust would be Sam and Dean grocery shopping...amiright? Ah, domestic Spander. How I miss you.

Nah, if I was thinking of Room 401 it would've pinged as soon as I looked at my flatiron. Check me out adding a short row of small numbers.

John Mayer is the weirdest thing to me. His music I can take or leave, but on Funny or Die or anything else LOVE HIM. And on Twitter? He's nutcake. In a good way.

I had Long John's Silver, mixing cheat day with Lent, like a good Catholic girl.

Grocery shopping. MY BULLETPROOF. There's so much less of it in SPN fic than I would like. I don't understand.

I got nothing. The only thing I can think of is that John Cusack movie 1408 - but that's not that close at all.

I was thinking I was maybe correlating 1408 and 1444, but yeah, I don't think it's that either.

It's bugging me though, can't lie.

First of all SHUT UP THERE IS NOT A SONG CALLED "SMITH AND WESSON" BY BJORK. I just came.

I am annoyed at how much 1444 resonates with me too, so I googled "1444 urgan legend" and came up with a mideaval (or however that funky spelling is) legend! GON GIT ALL MIDEVAL ON YOUR BUTTOCKS. Okay anyways.

On May 15, 1444 there was a splendid procession of "nine to ten thousand people, not counting the clergy" in which the faithful went "most reverently to fetch the little knife with with the false Jew had cut up our Lord's flesh ... After the holy relics came the whole Mystery of the Jew; he was shown bound with a cart of thorns as if he was on his way to be burned; next came the judge and then his wife and children."

OKAY THAT SOUNDED MORE PROMISING IN THE BEGINNING BEFORE I FINISHED TYPING IT. (I could not c/p it, which is why it's staying. lol)

The Battle of Varna (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Varna) sounds promising, but again, not really ringing any bells, just more learning about stuff than generating memories.

We shall remain in chagrin together. =o/

There IS. It's on her Selmasongs CD/Dancer in the Dark soundtrack, BUT! here's the weird thing, my copy of the CD has the track titled as Smith and Wesson, my friend's copy has it titled as Scatterheart and we've never been able to to figure it out. We think it's maybe because mine's listed as the Dancer in the Dark soundtrack, hers is the Selmasongs CD, but other than the title of track 4 they're the same thing. And no amount of google has ever answered why for us.

Anyway, in case you want it... here. (http://www.sendspace.com/file/hri9do)

I did come across the Battle of Varna in my searching earlier, but the urban legend is new to me. Interesting. I just can't figure out why it's pinging me. And it's probably NOTHING AT ALL.
